Married Clara Ellen "Jack" DEATHERAGE, 11 Feb 1932, Wilburton, Latimer, Oklahoma. No children. Handwritten notation indicates obit was published 5/23/1993] John R. Kilgore, 87, of Hartshorne, died Friday at the Veterans Hospital in Talihina. Services are scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. at Mills Chapel, Hartshorne, with Rev. C. D. Robins officiating. Internment will be at Elmwood Cemeter uner the direction of Mills Funeral Home, Harshorne. Pallbearers are Ronnie Cunningham, Jamie and Leon Roe, Walter Morrow, Bob Morgan, and Leon Riley. Born Oct 18, 1905 to John and Arper Drake Kilgore in Bache, he married Clara (Jack) Deatherage on Feb 11, 1932 in Wilburton. At the age of 15 he became a coal miner and had worked for Edward's Air Force Base in Lancaster, Calif, retiring in 1954 as a landscraper.
