She was born Sept. 20, 1924 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Jess and Hessie (Weatherly) White. Violet was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW #9265. She served many years as a cook at the Air National Guard and loved her funny toys. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Paul Darrell Langley; daughter Jessie Clark; companion Ralph Steffens; 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. She is survived by sons Doug & Robert Langley; daughter Mary Cook and husband James; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to Leisha, Randy and Brenda of Odyssey. Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday Dec. 7, 2002 in the South Colonial Chapel of Vondel Smith.
