Calvary Cemetery--McAlester OK Tucson Citizen, Tucson AZ NICHOLS, Albert "Butch", of Scottsdale, Arizona, died July 3, 2004 at the age of 66. Albert was born to Earnest and Ann (Moy) Nichols November 27, 1937 in Paris, Arkansas. He then moved to Krebs, OK at the age of 6 months old. Albert served in the US Air Force as a jet mechanic. He married Esther Joann Scott on May 11, 1960 in Savannah, GA and they shared a wonderful marriage of 44 years. Albert worked as a master welder for Magma Copper Co. for 33 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Albert enjoyed Oklahoma Sooner football and hunting and fishing. He was a longtime NRA member and a lifetime member of the North American Hunt Club. Albert is survived by his wife, Esther J. Nichols of Scottsdale AZ; son, Lance G. Nichols and wife Allison of Scottsdale, AZ; grandson, Cale A. Nichols; sister-in-law, Millie Nichols of Krebs OK; sister, Mildred Robinson of Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by parents Earnest and Ann Nichols and brother Gregory Nichols. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday July 12, 2004 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel, McAlester, OK. Rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2004 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel, led by Rev. Leo U. Ahanotu. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at St. Joseph Church, Krebs, OK, celebrated by Rev. Peter Phung and Rev. Leo U. Ahanotu. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, McAlester, OK. Pallbearers will be: Lance Nichols, Curtis Nichols, and Cale Nichols. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Church Renovation Fund, P.O.
