Leslie McNeil

PLAINVIEW - Leslie McNeil, 60, died Saturday, April 5, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel 

with T.A. Williams of Ash & Carver Church of Christ officiating. Burial 
will be in Plainview Cemetery.

Mr. McNeil was born in McAlister, Okla. He moved from Tulia to Plainview, 
where he was a welder and operated heavy equipment for High Plains Pavers.

He married Lou Willie Lawrence in 1975.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carolyn Wafer of Tulia; two 
stepdaughters, Betty Acy of Plainview and Jo Ann Glenn of Kingsland, Ark.; 
two stepsons, Ronnie White and Donnie White, both of Abilene; a brother, 
Herman McNeil of Chicago; two sisters, Cleta McNeil of McAlister and Ezada 
Jones of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
