Maxine Murphy

CHILDRESS -- Maxine Murphy, 73, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Trinity Worship Center with the 
Rev. Larry Crabtree officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by 
Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Murphy was born April 29, 1932, in McAlester, Okla. She was a member 
of Trinity Worship Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Kay Petty of Childress and 
Gwendolyn Jo Shirley of Coppell; a son, Danny Murphy of Childress; two 
brothers, Tommy Sims of Childress and Leslie Sims of Maryland; three 
sisters, Georgia Jones of Childress, Mittie Chandler of Amarillo and Bess 
Davenport of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two 
great-great-grandchildren.
