Oliver, who was killed by an explosion in his blacksmith shop last Friday afternoon, was buried at Enterprise last Saturday. The Woodmen of the World had charge of the funeral. ========= The Quinton Times, June 2, 1916 "A FATAL EXPLOSION JAP OLIVER KILLED" Jap M. Oliver Jap M. Oliver was instantly killed by an explosion at his blacksmith shop on south side of track about 1:30 this afternoon. A helper, Asbury McGee of Casa, Ark., was severely if not fatally injured. (Jap) He leaves 7 children by a former wife and 3 by his present wife, his father John Oliver , Mansfield, Ark., was notified at once of his sons death.
