Owens Ellen Oleta "Granny" Owens, 75, of Yuba City died Aug. 16, 2002, at her son's residence in Yuba City. Born in McAlester, Okla., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 40 years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, David Owens and James Owens, both of Yuba City; a daughter, Carolyn Roberts of Yuba City; a sister, Helen Sullivan of Hillsboro, Ore.; four grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. Services: A chapel service is scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Sierra View Mortuary. Steve McFarland, pastor of the New Hope Fellowship Church in Chico, will officiate.
