Pansy J. Payne, 96, of Amarillo died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Mrs. Payne had been an Amarillo resident for 70 years. She married 
Clarence Ray Payne on Jan. 14, 1925, in Quinton, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958.

Survivors include a brother, Roy W. Bankston of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, 
Jean Lococo of Lockport, La.; a granddaughter, Nelda Jean Schaffin of 
LaVerkin, Utah; three great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews.
