Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington with Brother Harold Hammonds officiating. Visitations: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Pallbearers: Mike Stiles, Chris Milnes, Jerry Gerth, Ronny Steward, Rickey King and Robert Kite. Memorials: American Cancer Society. Mr. Ricketts was born Dec. 5, 1925, in Kiowa, Okla. He retired from Gilco Oil Co. in 1985 after 46 years in sales. He had resided in Quitman since 1999 and had also lived in Fort Worth and Marietta. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Golden. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors: Wife, Doylene Ricketts of Quitman; sons, Steven A. Ricketts and wife, Vonda, Monte D. Kersh and wife, Sissie, Michael G. Kersh and wife, Marisa, Patrick C. Kersh and wife, Phylis, all of Fort Worth, Gregory W.
