Details are not obtainable, but it's reported that Jim Sizemore had trouble with his wife, he beating her it is alleged until his brother, Garnet Sizemore, interferred, when a desperate fight between the brothers took place. It is said that Garnet had a singletree in his hand, while Jim used the crosspiece off the top of a stove with deadly effect. It was reported that Jim came here to surrender to the officers, but he has not been here and it is presummed he went to Stigler, that being the county seat of Haskell county. A halfbrother of Sizemore was here yesterday morning after a casket and expressed surprise when he learned that Jim had not been here. Burial will be at Liberty today. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Quinton Times, Friday, June 19, 1914 Attorney Frank G.
