Travis, Ellis D.

Ellis D. Travis Longtime Resident of Antioch Ellis D. Travis, beloved 
Father and Grandpa, passed away peacefully surrounded by his 
children. Born Feb. 28, 1945 in Scipio, Okla., the son of Wayne and 
Ruth Travis. He was 61 years old. Ellis worked at Dupont in Antioch 
for more than 30 years before retiring in 1997. Ellis touched many 
lives with his caring and generous heart. He rescued and cared for 
his dog, cat and several horses. He will be greatly missed by his 
family. The family asks that any donation be made to Vitas Hospice 
Care of Walnut Creek, Calif. Survivors include his children, 
Shauntell and Lloyd Petko of Antioch, CA, Darren and Lisa Travis of 
Antioch, CA, grandchildren, Steven, Heather and Krystal Petko, Zain 
and Tera Travis, brothers David Travis of Indianola, Okla., Dwight 
and Susan Travis of San Ramon, Calif., Brett Travis of Picola, Okla., 
and several Aunts, Uncles, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in 
death by his parents and brother CR Travis. Services will be private.

memorials being held are without family consent.
