Terry, who was accidently burned about the neck and shoulders, Friday, May 29, died yesterday afternoon about 2:00 o'clock. We go to press too early (Thursday afternoon) to give particulars of the funeral. The grief stricken parents have the sympathy of everybody in their great sorrow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Quinton Times, Friday, June 26, 1914 LITTLE RUSHIE TERRY'S FUNERAL Funeral services over the remains of little Miss Rushie Terry who died Thursday afternoon of last week, were held at the Christian Church at 2:00 o'clock last Friday afternoon by Elder W.E. Jones. The funeral was in charge of W.A. Jetton, director. The active pallbearers were: Misses Mamie McClintock, Ela Gamble, Helen Jetton and Louise Dyer, playmates of the deceased. After the funeral exercises the little body was escorted to Cedar Grove Cemetery where it was laid to rest. Rushie was a bright little girl and her death is mourned by many friends who had learned to love her for her many winsome ways and apparent affection. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
