Viola Vandiver

DALHART - Viola Vandiver, 86, of Beatrice, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Hass Funeral Home Chapel with the 
Rev. David L. Vandiver officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park 
Cemetery in Dalhart.

Mrs. Vandiver was born in Durham, Okla. She was a farm wife before moving 
to Dalhart in 1949. She was employed by Gibsons Store, the Donut Shop and 
several restaurants before retiring. She moved to Plymouth, Neb., earlier 
this year and returned to Dalhart in September.

She married Roy Vandiver in 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband 
in 1982, by a son, Lloyd Vandiver, and a daughter, Mary Vandiver.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen June Ivey of Plymouth; eight 
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a greatgreat-grandchild.

Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.
