All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery--Bakersfield CA Welch, Bill Lee Bill Lee Welch was born November 29, 1934 in McAlester, OK to parents, Bill and Lennie Welch. He has one sister, Frances Elam and husband, Ken of Houston, TX; and one brother, J.L. Welch and wife, Alene of McAlester OK. Bill went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a short battle with double pneumonia and complications of staph infection. Bill was employed in the local oil field industry for 22 years. At the same time, he operated a home base business of bookkeeping and taxes until he opened his own business in accounting in 1968, BMW Accounting Inc. He was also a Notary Public for 25 years. Bill was a minister of the Gospel, a Bishop, Co-Pastor, Evangelist and Deacon in his home church Calvary Full Gospel. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara A. Welch; five sons, Billy Welch and wife, Debi, Perry Welch and wife, Evelyn, Charles Welch and wife, Julia, Chris Altman and wife, Candace, and David Altman; four daughters, Clara Justice and husband, Mark, Constance Freeman and husband, Douglas, Liberty Julien and husband, Bill, Deborah Owens and husband, Mike; by 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation begins Friday, June 9th, from 3-9 p.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary, 2739 Panama Lane. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 10th, at 10:30 a.m., Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel.
