               Mary Williams Obituary
   McAlester News Capital, Monday, July 28, 1919

“Mrs. Williams, Who Lived in McAlester 32 Years, Is Dead”

Mrs. Mary E. Williams, wife of Geo. W. Williams, died near Pittsburg, Okla.,
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ott Brewster, at 12 o’clock Saturday night at
the age of 75. Her death was due to old age.

She was born in Ohio and has been a resident of McAlester for 32 years.

She is survived by her husband, 7 children, 26 grandchildren, 9 great-
grandchildren. Her children are Mrs. Henry Thompson, Mrs. Geo. Beck both of
McAlester, John William of Ashland, Ed Williams of Allen, Chas. Williams of
Healdton, Mrs. Ott Brewster of Pittsburg, George Williams Jr., of McAlester.
She leaves one brother, Sherman Campbell of Savanna.

Funeral services will be held at Chaney’s undertaking parlors at 3 o’clock this
afternoon and will be conducted by the Rev. Frank Parsons of Pittsburg.
The deceased will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery.
