All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park--Bakersfield CA White, Alvin Kenneth Alvin Kenneth White Nov. 30, 1926 - Sept. 22, 2007 Mr. White was born November 30,1926 in Pittsburg Oklahoma and has resided in Kern County for 48 years. He served in the United States Army 1945-1948 in Europe and the Pacific during World War II. He was a local plumbing contractor for more than 53 years and was also a local Journeyman roofer. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who has devoted his life to taking care of his family and the needs of others. He gave unselfishly to anyone in need and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We have always felt like he was our protective angel here on earth. He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Loretta Ann White who passed away on July 11,1996. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Connie and Lenny Miller, Lewis White, Karl and Julia White, Kathy and Ken Cooper, Brenda White, all of Bakersfield, John and Wanda Tucker of Louisiana, and Kenneth White of Lake Isabella; grandchildren, Alicia Lincoln, Kenneth Clem Jr., Sara Clem, Amy White, Aundrea White, Skyler White, Nancy Hagiwara-White, Savannah White, William Meyerring III, Lynette White, Lewis White Jr., Kelsey White, Keith White, Krista White, Sean White; great-grandchildren, Aiden Hewitt, Keely White, Shelby White and Destiney White; sisters, Loyce Pittman, Toba White; and brother, Woodrow White. He has two special nieces, Barbara Gregory and Debbie White who were always near to his heart. He has two sisters-in-law, Jennie White and Kathryn Belcher; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Lane. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 2007, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. A very special Thank You to Troy Buford who dad has mentored for many years and his Great friend, Adrian Clem. You both have brought many hours of joy to our dad.
