Mills and Miss Emma Hodges, both of this place were quietly married at Crowder, Tuesday afternoon of last week, Squire Sam Box officiating. After the marriage the bride went to Holdenville to visit her uncle, Bert Hodges, and the bridegroom came back to Quinton. Friday night Lawrence also went to Holdenville and Sunday afternoon he and the bride returned to Quinton. For the present the happy couple have rooms at the Earl Hotel and will remain there until they find a suitable house when they will commence housekeeping. The bridegroom is the son of B.F. Mills, the hustling drayman, and is the efficient clerk at the postoffice. The bride is an orphan girl and was employed for many months at the Earl Hotel. Both are industrious and worthy and seem admirably suited to each other. A host of friends join the Times in wishing a long, happy life, full of joy and pleasure, unalloyed and untainted by the poisonous sting of jealousy.
