Old Moss Cemetery _________________________________________________________________ Old Moss Cemetery is located in Midland Twp., R-4-E, Sec 2, south of the bridge crossing Barris Creek, and was canvassed April 21, 1969 by Nell Horton, Stella Robinson, Beulah Smith, Myrtle Hodges, Bessie Hatchett, Betty Denny, Nancy Frame, Jo Vogt, Eula Hasskarl and Elva Wall. 15 April 1999 --- This cemetery is abandoned. It is unfenced and located in a pasture, about one-half mile East of Vanoss. Many of the stones shown here, can not be located today. In the mid 1980s one grave (name unknown) was moved from here to another cemetery. Gene Brewington.
