Satterfield, 78, Ada, are 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Dr. Bob Bender officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park. Mr. Satterfield died Jan. 11, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1924, at Howard's Ridge, Mo., to Homer Satterfield and Lucille Howard. He graduated from high school in Bakersfield, Mo. He came to Ada Jan. 1, 1958, from West Plains, Mo., and obtained a business degree from Oklahoma City University following his retirement. Mr. Satterfield married Juanita Price on Sept. 28, 1944. He was the owner and operator of Neil's Shoes from 1958-1997. He and his wife were also the owners and operators of The Clother Corner for many years. Mr. Satterfield was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church and had formerly served as a deacon and Sunday school superintendant. He was a past president of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce and was also a certified instructor of Dale Carnegie Courses. He served on the Board of Directors of Valley View Regional Hospital and was board secretary at the time of construction of the present hospital building. He was also a founding member of Ada Main Street. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Satterfield, Ada; three daughters, Shirley Wood, Roff, Sue Frederick, Seminole, and Carolyn Pasqualino, Poplar Grove, Ill.; two brothers, Wayne Satterfield, Denver, Colo., and Archie Satterfield, Chinon, France; a sister, Marie Riggs, Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Bearers are grandsons and nephews. Honorary bearers are staff members of Valley View Regional Hospital and the deacons of First Baptist Church. Bolton Monday evening. Mr. Alexander died Jan. 10, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 10, 1964, at Aurora, Colo., to Samuel and Mary Greenwood Alexander. In grade school he attended Carter Seminary. He attended high school at Ravia and Tishomingo High School. He came to this area in 1970 from Colorado. He married Orlinda Marie Todacheenie in 1984. Mr. Alexander was employed with Sears in Ada and later with Dollar General Warehouse in Ada. He was Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Orlinda Alexander, of the home; two sons, Carlos Alexander and Kyle Alexander, both of the home; his parents, Mary and Samuel Alexander, Ravia; three brothers, Mark Alexander, Ada, Cecil Alexander and Matthew Alexander, both of Ravia; and a sister, Renia Collins, Davis. Burial follows at Rose Hill Cemetery in the Temple Israel section. Mrs. Brown died Jan. 9, 2003, at a Tulsa hospital. She was born June 30, 1922, at Fort Towson to Abe and Esther Corenbleth Pollock. She was raised in Ada. She attended Sophie Newcombe College and Tulane University in New Orleans, La., majoring in art. She married Adolph "Dolph" Brown on Nov. 1, 1942. He died July 17, 2002. Mrs. Brown worked as a bookkeeper for The Smart Shop in Ada. In 1946 she and her husband opened Brown's Children's Shop. She moved to Tulsa in 1995. She was a member of Temple Israel and B'Nai Emunah Synagogue. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn "Puddin" Cox, Seattle, Wash.; a son, Dr. Mike Brown, Woodenville, Wash.; and eight grandchildren. Cole, 76, Sulphur, died Jan. 9, 2003, at a Sulphur nursing facility. She was born March 3, 1926, at Sulphur to Clarence and Mary Ethel Bolen Maas. She had lived in Sulphur and Murray Counties her entire life. Mrs. Cole married J.H. Cole on Sept. 13, 1950, at Texas. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, James Anthony Cole, Vista, Calif.; a daughter, DeWanna Wilkins Brown, Sulphur; a brother, Clarence Maas, Sulphur; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was born April 25, 1909, at Stephens County to Herndon Henry and Ora Teague Hardin. She attended the University of Oklahoma. Mrs. Danley married Barney C. Danley. He preceded her in death in 1989. She came to Ada from Mineral Wells in 1991. She was a nurse administrator and dietitian until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Darrel Danley. Survivors include a brother, Herndon Spears Hardin, Oklahoma City. She graduated from Wasco High School and attended Sacramento State University. She married Glen S. Harris on May 11, 1957. Mrs. Harris returned to the Ada area in 2000 from New Mexico. She was an x-ray technician at the Sugg Clinic from 1956 until 1959. While living in new Mexico she managed a mobile home park. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Glen S. Harris, of the home; a daughter, Jacqueline Burris, Edgewood, N.M.; two sons, Steven Bennett Harris, Pheonix, Ariz., and Michael Eugene Harris, Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Jack Majors, Ardmore, and Garland Nelson, Bakersfield, Calif.; and a grandson. He moved to Sulphur at the age af 6. Mr. Johnson married Elsie Vidella Young at Gainesville, Texas, June 6, 1947. She died Oct. 31, 1998. Except for time spent in the U.S. Army during Warld War II, Mr. Johnson lived in Sulphur and Murray counties most of his life. He was retired from the post office and was a Bronze Star recipient. Mr. Marsee died Jan. 11, 2003, at an Ada haspital. He was born Oct. 20, 1918, at Slaughterville to Orrin and Blanche Marsee. He lived all of his life in the Slaughtervillel/Lexington area. He graduated from Capital Hill High School in Oklahama City. He married Judy Patton in 1947 at Norman. She preceded him in death. He later married Oleeta Noah Dec. 30, 1993. Mr. Marsee was a pipefitter for the Norman Board of Education, retiring in 1979. He had also been employed by Fisher Plumbing Campany. He was a member of the Pipefitters Association. Survivors include his wife, Oleeta Noah-Marsee, Ada; a son, Micky J. Marsee, Purcell; a daughter, Sandra Pohlenz, Norman; a sister, Nadine Eischen, Tulsa; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was born Oct. 4, 1929, at Sharon, Kan., to Alvin Jay and Lela Marie Hawk Brown. He married Bettie Inez Gose at Austin, Texas, Jan. 25, 1975. She died Aug. 9, 2002. Mr. Brown was in the U.S. Navy and Air Force for 20 years and worked in excavation construction as well. He moved to Stratford in 1979. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Stratford American Legion Post 191 and Masonic Lodge 118. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Scarbrough. Kelly Pullen. She grew up in Davis and was a 1930 graduate of Davis High School. She earned a teaching degree from East Central University and a master's degree from the University of Oklahoma. She married Arthur Mancebo in California. Mrs. Mancebo was owner and operator of the Hans and Greta Kindergarten in Ada for many years before moving to California. She retired from her teaching career from the San Jose California State University before relocating back to Ada. She was a Baptist and a member of the Prime Timer Club of Ada. He was raised at Davis and attended Davis Schools. He married Goldie Brewer Dec. 4, 1950, at Ponca City. Mr. Martin lived in Ponca City for 28 years before moving to the Oklahoma City area. He returned to Davis in 1978 and then relocated back to Oklahoma City in September 2002. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Davis. Survivors include his wife, Goldie Martin, of the home; two sons, Jackie James Martin, Moore, and Tomothy George Martin, Oklahoma City; three brothers, Billy Martin, George Martin, both of Ponca City, and Jerry Martin, Calumet; and two sisters, Marie Tigert, Davis, and Imogene Jolly, El Paso, Texas. Mr. Shue died Jan. 13, 2003, at a Stonewall nursing facility. He was born Dec. 18, 1907, at Oklahoma City to John Louis and Rosa Mae Smith Shue. He attended school in Tulsa. He married Mary Lela Newby on Oct. 11, 1930, at Oklahoma City. She died July 2, 1999, at Stonewall. Mr. Shue was a heavy equipment operator and also owned and operated a small engine repair shop in Ada for many years. He was affiliated with Stonewall First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Sue. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette Hayes, Stonewall; three sisters, Louise "Pat" Dorey, Loraine Brashear and Betty Balk [* see Note at end], all of Carlsbad, N.M.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great- great-grandchildren. John Norvell officiating. Burial follows at Vamoosa Cemetery, near Konawa, Okla. Mr. Scott-Marshall died Dec. 12, 2002, at San Francisco. He was born Jan. 25, 1962, at Fort Worth, Texas, to Richard Scott and Derrelyn Metz. He graduated from American School in Isfahan, Iran. Mr. Scott-Marshall received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas at Denton, Texas. He received a master's degree in composition from Mills College at Oakland. He was a composer and had received the coveted BMI Award in New York City for his symphonic compositions "Forét Russe" and "Nineveh." He was affiliated with the Episcopal church. Stick, 80, Ada, are 2 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Chapel, the Revs. Sam Johnson and Gene Williams officiating. Burial follows at Steedman Cemetery, west of Ada, where the Fort Sill Honor Guard will conduct a flag-folding ceremony. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Friday. Mr. Stick died Jan. 13, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born Jan 8, 1923, at Stonewall to Amosin and Maggie Nelson Stick. He was a lifetime resident of the Stonewall, Allen, Ada areas and attended Ahloso schools. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from Jan. 13, 1943, until Oct. 29, 1945. He received the European-African-Middle Eastern ribbon with four Bronze battle stars. He also received the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Stick married Eliza Vene Walton on Nov. 13, 1945. She died Oct. 15, 1996, at Ada. He was employed by Allen Idle Time Campers for 20 years before retiring in 1990. He was also a farmer and affiliated with Johnson Chapel. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include three sons, Harold Stick, Martin Stick and Rodney Stick, all of Ada; and two daughters, Linda Stick, Ada, and Vickie Osborne, Stratford. He was preceded in death by a son, Earl Stick, in 1997. Bearers are Brandon Osborne, Douglas Osborne, Jeremiah Adams, Valjerry Cook, Stirling Stick and Eugene Osborne.
