No services are pending at this time. He was born Feb. 5, 1930, in the Sunshine community, south of Fitzhugh, to Joseph Madison and Myrtle Jane Van Zant Crisp. He attended Fitzhugh School. He and Betty Marie Karhn were wed Feb. 5, 1950, at Hempstead, N.Y. He married Joyce Schulann Crisp Feb. 5, 1965. Mr. Crisp was a truck driver and a farmer. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by a son, Dusty Bill Crisp. Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Lee Gambino, Iowa, and Lenora Marie Froelich, Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Margaret Cole, Ocean Springs, Miss., and Beatrice Stokes, Wilmington, N.C.; five grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. Criswell Funeral Home --- NADINE FULTON ADA — Graveside services for Nadine Fulton, 72, Ada, are 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park, the Rev. Dan Cusher officiating. Mrs. Fulton died April 26, 2003, at a local hospital. She was born Dec. 7, 1930, at Elk City to James W. and Mary Irene Gantt Brotherton. She was a resident of the Ada area most of her life. She and Bill Fulton were married Oct. 31, 1953. Mrs. Fulton was an employee of Brockway Glass Co. and Remington Arms. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Velma O’Brien and Thelma Taylor, and a brother, Ray Brotherton. Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Rice, Ada, and Dena Binkley, Konawa; two grandchildren, Troy Binkley, Konawa, and Lindsey Rice, Ada; and several nieces and nephews. Clagg Funeral Home --- DONALD SPIEKERMAN TUPELO — Memorial services for Donald Richard Spiekerman, 69, Tupelo, are 2 p.m. today at First Lutheran Church, Ada, the Rev. Gary Brandt officiating. Mr. Spiekerman died April 24, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1933, at Blumfield Township, Mich., to Norman and Olga Hartman Spiekerman. He graduated from Saginaw High School, Saginaw, Mich., in 1951. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Michigan. He worked for Wacker Silicones as a regional salesman for many years. He and Karen Greenwood were married June 10, 1960, at Saginaw. Mr. Spiekerman was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Riverside, Calif. He was a charter member of Inland Gamebird Breeders Association and Quail Breeders Association. He was certified as a United States Federated Gamebird judge and received the Danny Davey Thunderbird Foundation Award in 1976 for dedicated service and cooperative efforts on behalf of the American Indian. He was also associated with the 4-H Club as a club leader. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Elizabeth Spiekerman; and two brothers, Leslie Spiekerman and Eldore Spiekerman. Survivors include his wife, Karen Spiekerman, of the home; a son, Roger Spiekerman, Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Dr. Penny Landers, Sandwich, Ill., and Dr. Jill Wagner, Asheboro, N.C.; a brother, the Rev. Victor Spiekerman, Johannesburg, Mich.; a sister, Lorraine Kuske, Saginaw; and a granddaughter, Siri Landers, Sandwich. He was born March 3, 1927, at Sasakwa to William “Jack” Jackson and Iva Hailey Watters. He attended Rocky Point School. He and Wanda Nunley were married Feb. 14, 1948, at Gainesville, Texas. Mr. Watters was a self-employed contract welder and was affiliated with Trinity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Watters; and a sister, Wanda Jones. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Watters, of the home; two daughters, Linda Blain and husband, Frank, Enid, and Nancy Williamson and husband, Jacky, Perryton, Texas; three brothers, Bill Watters, Oklahoma City, Leroy Watters and V.L. She was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Chattooga County, Ga., to William Terrell and Lillie Mae Pruitt Hendrix. She attended school in Tennessee and came to this area 25 years ago from Michigan. She and Albert Leonard Williams were married Nov. 8, 1930, in Fulton County, Ky. He died Sept. 28, 1968, in Wayne County, Michigan. She was a homemaker and was affiliated with Morris Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Franklin Williams; two grandsons, Scotty Williams and Bill Dyer; and two great-grandsons, Clinton Beard and Bradley Williams. Burial follows at Moore Cemetery. Mr. Carter died April 28, 2003 at Oklahoma City. He was born August 8, 1922, to B.B. Carter and Bessie Nash. He married Wanda Patton June 16, 1944, at Coalgate. Bruce Carter was a graduate of Clarita High School, Murray State College and Oklahoma A&M. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II aboard a B-24 bomber, flying missions over India and China. After the war, he returned to his ranch in Clarita. He was preceded in death by his parents, B.B. and Bessie Carter; one sister, Golda Baker; and one brother, Harvey Carter. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Carter, of the home; a son, Jim Carter and wife, Mary, Clarita; a daughter, Debra West, Moore; grandchildren, Bruce Lynn Carter and wife, Chris, Oklahoma City and Randy Carter and wife, Julie, Ada; and great-granddaughters Katelyn and Kyndal Carter, Ada. He was born July 10, 1918, at Seminole to James Henry and Nora Alice Stailey Carrigan. He worked for Double Cola before going into the oil field business. He retired after working for several oil field companies as an oil field truck driver. He served in World War II as a sergeant in the Army Air Force. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ada, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a lifelong Seminole resident before moving to Ada two years ago. He and Mildred Viola Carrigan were married Oct. 18, 1941, in Seminole. Mr. Carrigan was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Viola Carrigan, Ada; three daughters, Lynett Jones and Jean Trobaugh, both of Ada, and Delois June Carrigan, Maud; a son, Wendell Ray Carrigan, Ada; a sister, Susie Williams, Shawnee; two brothers, James Carrigan, Duncan, and R.M. Carrigan, Utah; a granddaughter, two step-grandsons, and two step-great-grandchildren. She was born May 10, 1917, at Oneonta, Ala., to James and Ida Stansill Thomason. She attended school in Blount County, Ala., and came to this area in 1946 from Alabama. She and Maurice Lee Tucker were married June 28, 1937, at Birmingham, Ala. He died Oct. 16, 1984. Mrs. Tucker was a homemaker and a member of the Ada Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Sallie Rhyne; four sisters, Alma Ryan, Ethel Ennis, Hazel Joyce and Mary Lee Atkins; and three brothers, Marion Rhyne, Melton Rhyne and Carl Rhyne. Survivors include his wife, Marie Rhyne, of the home; three daughters, Beverly Chaney, Wagoner, Sally Thomason, Sulphur, and Mary Smoot, Ada; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
