Steve Wilburn officiating. Burial follows at East Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Brown died Nov. 26, 2003, at a local hospital. She was born April 10, 1921, at Fitzhugh to James and Beatrice Moore Webb. She was raised in the Roff area and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist. She and V.A. "Buck" Brown were married April 30, 1938, at Roff Methodist Church. He died Oct. 5, 1984. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bea Webb; two brothers, Bill Webb and J.T. Webb; and a grandson, Jimmy Brown. Survivors include three sons, Vernon Brown and wife Chae, Chock Brown and wife Mary Jo, all of Roff, and Doug Brown and wife Sonya, Odessa, Texas; two brothers, Harvey Webb and wife Norma, Norman, Kenneth Webb and wife Dolly, Sulphur; three sisters, Margie Pollock, Betty Stanford and husband B.A., Mary Gurley and husband Loyd, all of Sulphur; eight grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Delbert Akin officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery. Mr. Neal died Nov. 25, 2003, at an Ada hospital. He was born April 3, 1932, at Ada to Charles and Eva Jennings Neal. He attended Washington Elementary School and Ada Junior High School. He and Ann Crow were married Oct. 5, 1950. He later married Ruby McCown on July 26, 1960. She died Dec. 9, 1992. Mr. Neal was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad and had also worked for Cates Construction. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Reba Shimp and Scott Neal. Survivors include six daughters, Charlene Mansel, Michelle Livengood, Tressa Pearson, all of Amarillo, Texas, Sharon Prescott, Wichita, Kan., Rita Campbell and Sue Sickler, both of Tulsa; a son, Chuck Neal, Amarillo; three brothers, Robert Neal, Kenneth Neal, both of Ada, and Donald Neal, Amarillo; two sisters, Faye Ward, Paris, Texas, Barbara Marr, Denison, Texas; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and caregiver and special friend Ruth Harjo, Holdenville. Mr. Wood died Nov. 26, 2003, at a local nursing facility. He was born Aug. 12, 1923, south of Stonewall to Claude E. and Lula Hammersley Wood. He attended grade school at Pleasant Hill and high school at Stonewall. He owned and operated a Roustabout Service Company for many years and was also a rancher. He and Frances McKinney were married Oct. 21, 1943, at Jesse. Mr. Wood was a member of the Bright Star Masonic Lodge 113 and was a Shriner. He served in the U.S. Army for 26 years during World War II in Germany and two tours in Korea. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Wood, on Nov. 29, 1999; two brothers, Lee Wood and Roy Wood; and two great-grandchildren, Braden and Denver Krebs of Clarita. Survivors include his wife, Frances Wood, of the home; three sons, Gary Wood and wife Teresa, Ada, Mike Wood and wife Kim, Bartlesville, and Rickey Wood, Cyril; a daughter, Nancy Sanders and husband Herbert, Tupelo; three sisters, Josie James, Bessie Bolen, both of Stonewall, and Mildred Gettings, Florida; three brothers, Jack Wood, Merle Wood and Earl Wood, all of Stonewall; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mynatt Jr. M.D., 83, Ada, are 4 p.m. Saturday at Criswell Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Joonno Um officiating. Burial will be held later at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C. Mr. Mynatt died Nov. 26, 2003, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born May 10, 1920, at Knoxville, Tenn., to Cecil F. and Ethel May Mynatt. He attended grade school in Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated from high school in Knoxville. He came to this area in 1990 from Lawton. Shortly after high school he entered the U.S. Army, serving from 1941-1945. He was accepted into the OSS and the Jedburghs, of which he is one of the last survivors. During his time in the service he earned a Decorated Silver Star, a Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts from the U.S., European Theater of Operations Medal with four bronze battle stars and one arrowhead, the American Theater Ribbon, American Defense Medal, as well as the highest decorated medals from France for his work in that country. Upon his return from military duty, Mr. Mynatt entered college at the University of Tennessee in 1945, graduating in 1951. He also attended the University of Tennessee Medical School, graduating in 1950. He then entered his residency in the Menninger School of Psychiatry from 1951-1965. He spent time as the superintendent of Eastern State Hospital, Knoxville, from 1965-1967; private practice at Wright Ferry Hospital, Knoxville, 1967-1968; co-owner of a private hospital in Knoxville from 1968-1973; private practice and co-owner of private facility in Las Vegas, Nev., 1973-1984; superintendent of Western State Hospital, Woodward, 1984-1989; director of Talaffero Mental Health Center, Lawton, 1989-1990; Medical Director, Rolling Hills Private Psychiatric Hospital, Ada, 1991-1996; Medical Director of Behavioral Medicine at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Ardmore, 1996-1998; private practice in Ada and Ardmore from 1991 to the present; and on staff at Valley View Regional Hospital. He and Yong C. Mynatt were married Oct. 10, 1990, at Lawton. He was an active member of the American Medical Association, the Oklahoma State Medical Association and American Psychiatric Association. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Yong Mynatt, of the home; and seven children, a son Matt Mynatt and wife Lisa, and two children Matt and Sara, all of Knoxville; a daughter, Cissy Mynatt and husband David, Christiana, Tenn.; a daughter, Melissa Mynatt Wilson and son Will Kerr, Knoxville; a daughter, Martha Mynatt Immel and husband David and son Sam, Augusta, Ga.; a son Richard Mynatt, Knoxville; a daughter Katherine Farley, her husband Russ and daughter Isabelle, Behr, Del.; and a son, Jonathan Braddock, Norman. Mr. Bingham died Nov. 26, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born July 1, 1937, at Ada to Sam and Odie Kious Bingham. He was raised in Henryetta and returned to Ada in 1976. He attended grade school at Wilson and graduated from Wilson High School in Pawnee. He was a Baptist. He and Janet Helen Lee were married March 4, 1958, at Jerome, Idaho. Mr. Bingham enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1955, retiring as a technical sergeant after 20 years of service. He also worked as a truck driver for various companies, including H.R. Hill and Osage Oil. He later owned and operated his own truck. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Odi Bingham. Survivors include his wife, Janet Bingham, of the home; five sons, Gary Bingham, Konawa, Steve Bingham, Scranton, Ark., David Bingham, Ada, Doug Bingham, Paris, Ark., and Jeff Bingham and wife Mary, Ada; a step-brother, Sammy Bingham, Ada; nine granddaughters, Tara Bingham, Megan Bingham, Sheena Bingham, Jenifer Bingham, Holly Ann Bingham, Kendra Bingham, Amber Bingham, Madison Bingham and Crissa Bingham; and two great-granddaughters, Destiny Bingham and Hailey Bingham. Burial follows at High Hill Cemetery. Mr. Burris died Nov. 28, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1958, at Oklahoma City to Leamon Albertson and Sebena Burris. He lived in this area most of his life, attending grade school in Tupelo and graduating from Tupelo High School. He served on the Stonewall Police Department for the past 11 years and was the police chief for the past four-and-a-half years. He was affiliated with Stonewall First Baptist Church and was a member of the Oklahoma Association of Chiefs of Police. Survivors include a son, Jeremy Burris, Stonewall; a daughter, Ashley Burris, Ada; his mother, Sebena Burris, Ada; and three brothers, Melvin Burris, Allen, Phillip Burris, Ada, and William Burris, Oklahoma City. He was born June 26, 1927, at Inglewood, Calif., to Arthur Leonard and Mabel Marie Mooney Ford. He lived in the Sunshine Ccommunity as a child and returned to Oklahoma in 1976 from California. He came to Ada in 1990. He was employed at Douglas Aircraft and later Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank, Calif., and Palmdale, Calif. He was a member of Missionary Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army Air- Corps. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ford, of the home; a son, Paul Ford and wife Donna, Durant; a daughter, Patti Gwyn and husband Jack, Rockwall, Texas; and four grandchildren, Amber Ford, Christian Gwyn, Alex Gwyn and Angela Goodine. She and James Harvey Steele were married Sept. 20, 1952, at Van Buren, Ark. Mrs. Steele was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister and a daughter, Tracy Nell Steele. Survivors include her husband, Jim Steele, of the home; a son, Jimmy H. Steele, Springdale, Ark.; two daughters, Betty Lynn Rawley, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Rhonda Sue Finn, Edmond; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. She was born April 8, 1925, at Hatch, Utah, to Robert Parker and Elva Retta La Preal Waters Callahan. She was raised in southern Utah and moved to California during World War II to work on a ship factory. She and George Perry Loch were married May 30, 1945. He died July 28, 2003. She resided in the Non community and later moved to Calvin where she resided until retirement. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many positions within the church including president of the Women’s Organization. Mrs. Loch was preceded in death by her husband, George Perry Loch; and a daughter, Mary Beth. Charles Baumann and Steve Sherrod officiating. Burial follows at Paoli Cemetery. Mr. Sherrod died Nov. 27, 2003, at his home. He was born Nov. 5, 1913, at Antioch to Willard Rufus and Mary Ella Thompson Sherrod and was one of eight children. He grew up in the Paoli and Pauls Valley area, graduating from Pauls Valley High School in 1930. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. after 42 years of service as a district engineer, having resided in Bethany, Putnam City and Lawton during his career. Upon his retirement he relocated from Lawton to Stratford. He and Edrie Shumate were married Dec. 27, 1934, at Pauls Valley. She preceded him in death Jan. 25, 1986, after 51 years of marriage. He later married Elta Winona Hughes in 1988. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Winona, of the home; two sons, Phillip Sherrod, New York City, N.Y., and Steve Sherrod and wife Linda, both of Bartlesville; a daughter, Nancy Wilson, Tulsa; a brother, Harold Sherrod and wife Lenore, Paoli; and three grandchildren, Sandro Sherrod, New York City, Alison Sherrod, Fort Collins, Colo., and Scott Sherrod, Stillwater.
