Mr. Bradford died Dec. 9, 2003. He was born Oct. 26, 1924, at Roff to Emit and Allie Bradford. He graduated from Roff High School in 1944. He served in the U.S. Army and earned a bachelor’s degree from East Central University and a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. He taught at Capitol Hill High School for 36 years. He was a member of Olivet Baptist Church for 38 years. He married Katherine Ann Middleton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Kenneth Ray Bradford. Survivors include his wife, Katherine; a son, John Bradford; a daughter, Marcia Sauzek and husband Devon; a brother, Bill Bradford and wife Geneva; a sister, Allie Faye Crowder; two grandchildren, Heather Denison and Kara Sauzek; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She attended East Central University and graduated with a master’s degree. She taught at several area schools--Bowlegs, Olive, 16 years at Vanoss and currently was the principal at Wynnewood School. She was a member of ATAE, CCOSA and NAOESP. She was a member of Evangelistic Temple. She and John Wayne Turner were married Aug. 4, 1972, at Holdenville. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Marissa Turner. View, Ark., and came to this area at an early age from Arkansas. She and Harvey Baker were married Aug. 28, 1923, at Hickory. He died July 17, 1983, at Ada. She was a homemaker and a member of Ahloso Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Stevens and J.C. Stevens; two great-grandchldren; and three stepsisters, Nellie Littlefield, Georgie Green and Carrie Dotson. Survivors include four sons, H.B. Mr. Thomas died Dec. 12, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1937, at Lawton to Raymond and Fannie Harjo Thomas. He was longtime resident of the Allen area, attending Allen Schools and graduating high school in California. He also attended college for two years in California. He and Patsy Bishop were married Aug. 31, 1957. Mr. Thomas worked as a factory employee with pre-finished plywood and was later a rancher. He was a member of the Allen Assembly of God Church where he served as a deacon and a Sunday school superintendent for many years. He served in the National Guard with the 45th Infantry Division. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Fannie Thomas; and two brothers, Jesse and Bobby. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Thomas, of the home; a daughter, Judy McAnuff, Ada; a son, Rodger Thomas, Shawnee; a sister, Rose Esquerra, Parker, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Stephen and Phillip Prince, Stacy, Blake, Danielle and Brady Thomas; and three great-grandchildren. John Haynes officiating. Mrs. Tinsley died Dec. 11, 2003, at Mena. She was born Feb. 22, 1914, at Alluwe, Okla., to Homer Elliott Wyckoff and Jessie Vida Young. She graduated from Ada High School and received a degree in business and foreign language from East Central University, Ada. Mrs. Tinsley was employed at the Ada Evening News as the office manager for 34 years. She was later a personal administrative assistant for more than eight years. She and Dale Tinsley were married April 11, 1936, at Shawnee, Okla. He died Feb. 12, 1996, at Ada. Mrs. Tinsley was a member of First Baptist Church of Ada, the Busy Hands Quilters Guild, and the Women’s Missionary Union of First Baptist Church, and taught Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Tinsley; a son, John Tinsley; a great-grandchild; six brothers; and two sisters. She was born Aug. 29, 1918, at Pauls Valley to Elmer and Annie Bell Covel Moore. She graduated from Asher High School and Draughn’s Business College in Oklahoma City. After graduating from business college, she returned to Stratford to work in the Robinson Grocery Store. A year later, she worked at the U.S. Post Office from 1942 and retired after serving 33 years. She and Arthur J. Brundidge were married in 1953 and they lived in Stratford until they both retired in 1976. They later moved to Gore and in 1983, they moved to Ada. In 1989, they relocated to Tulsa. Mrs. Brundidge was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bixby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Brundidge; her parents; and a brother, Everett Leon Moore. Survivors include a daughter, Bobbie Woodward and husband Pat, Bixby; and a granddaughter, Lisa Woodward, Bixby. Burial follows at Jesse Cemetery, Jesse, Okla. Mr. Barrett died Dec. 12, 2003, at Delano. He was born Dec. 1, 1917, at Fittstown to Issac Nelson and Annie Laura Barrett. He was a graduate of Pontotoc High School, Pontotoc, Okla. Mr. Barrett was employed with Schenley Winery for 35 years until his retirement. He and Louise Holland were married April 12, 1941, at Connerville, Okla. Mr. Barrett served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre, leaving the military in 1945. Mr. Farrell died Dec. 14, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born Nov. 25, 1933, to John Robert and Josephine Thelma Lang Farrell. He attended Edmond Junior High and was a graduate of Edmond High School. He attended Central State College briefly before enlisting into the military, then returned to Central after his retirement from the military to obtain a bachelor’s degree in 1979. He was a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in Korea during the Korean War and two tours of duty in Vietnam, retiring in 1976 as a Senior Master Sergeant. He began working for the State of Oklahoma in May 1984 in the Department of Libraries Micrographics Lab as a micrographics technician and was upgraded to micrographics technician supervisor and later to the position of administrative officer I. He retired June 1, 1994. Mr. Farrell was a Nazarene, but was baptized at Hilltop Baptist Church, Edmond. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, George Farrell and Jack Farrell.
