He was born Sept. 22, 1925, at Hartshorne to Sidney Jacob and Maggie Myrtle Holt Christian. He married Barbara Trench on Jan. 27, 1947 in Gainesville, Texas. She died on Jan. 31, 1976. He then married Sue Suther on December 22, 1980 in Davis. Mr. Christian was known for ranching and being a farmhand. He was a longtime member of the Union Valley Baptist Church. He was also a Gold Card holder for the Oklahoma Dally Team Ropers Association and a 32nd degree Mason receiving his 45-year pin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one great-grandchild. Arthur in 1946. He died in 1980. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruby Collard, and her husband, Doyle. He was born Sept. 5, 1931, in Ada to Bob and Bonnie Carter Aubrey. He attended Ada schools and served in the U.S. Air Force in Japan and Germany during the Korean Conflict, and in Thailand during the Vietnam Era. He retired April 11, 1969, as a technical sergeant, after 21 years of service. Later, he was employed in maintenance for Wells Fargo Bank in Portland, Ore., and then as a security guard for the First National Bank in Portland. He moved back to this area from Portland in September 2005. Mr. Aubrey was a member of the United Methodist Church and attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Ada. He married Vada Jo Jones June 20, 1978, at Ada. Mr. Choate was a bulk truck driver for Halliburton for 18 years, and an over the road driver for Lee Way Motor Freight for thirteen years. He was a long-term member of the Ada Elks Lodge 1640, membership 29, and a member of the Teamsters Local Union 886. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie Choate; a brother, John Choate Jr.; and a son, Rick Choate. She was born Oct. 8, 1920 at Pontotoc to Jackson and Lula Belle Lewis Levi. She married Milton James Sealy on Dec. 25, 1947. Ms. Sealy lived in the Pontotoc area all of her life. She attended the Pontotoc Schools as a child and was a member of the Pennington Methodist Church. She was an active member in the Methodist Women's Society and the senior citizens activities. She was also a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Melvin Sealy; one daughter, Juanita Thomas; one brother, Andruss Hamilton; two sisters, Flora Reed and Nora Beth Greenwood; and four grandchildren. He learned Morse Code and utilized that skill as a ham radio operator. Distinguished as an expert on Rainbow Trout incubation, he retired from the Department of Interior, Bureau of Fisheries and Wildlife, after 34 years of service. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Cox managed the world's largest trout hatchery at Norfolk, Ark., and, most recently at the National Fish Hatchery at Pisgah Forest. In 1978 he began his venture into commercial trout incubation and founded Cox and Son's Trout Hatchery, at Penrose. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Lowell W. Cox. He was born Feb. 21, 1951, at Stuart, to William Arthur and Dona Dean Burns Harden. He attended Gerty school and graduated from Calvin High School in 1970. He was raised in the Gerty and Calvin area and has lived in the Ada area the past 14 years. He married Janis Mauldin in 1970 at Calvin. For several years, Mr. Harden owned his own dozer business and for the past 35 years has owned his own trucking company. For the past five years, has worked for Turner Brothers, Oklahoma City, hauling oilfield pipe. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Hattie Harden and Lester "Boss" and Mary Burns. Survivors include his parents, Arthur and Dona Harden, Gerty; his companion, Karen Griffiths, Ada; a son, Jason Harden, Calvin; a daughter, Jessica Harden, McAlester; Karen's daughter, Whitney Griffiths, of the home; five grandchildren, Colton Harden, Charlie Harden, Catlyn Harden, all of McAlester, Chelsi Lands and Christopher Skadal, both of Ada; three brothers, Delbert Harden and wife Shirley, Bobby Harden and wife Wilma, and David Harden and wife Karla, all of Gerty; two sisters, Margaret Bennett, Waco, Texas, and Ramona Campbell, Wanette; and several nieces and nephews. He had various occupations, but later in life, returned to farming and ranching. He was a member of the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church. He married Norma Jean Thomason May 28, 1951, in Ada, Ok. Mr. Huddleston graduated from Ada High School and East Central University witha bachelor's of science degree. He was an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the U.S. Army, retiring in 1992 as a colonel. He was a substitute teacher for Katy, Texas, Independent School District and a member of Katy Church of Christ. Ms. Stromstad died Monday, April 24, 2006, at Homestead At Hickory View in Washington, Mo. She was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Tupelo, Okla., to George Glen Lee and Lou Sinda Davis Lee. She married George Martin in 1935 in Ada, Okla. He died Jan. 23, 1951. She married Ralph J. Stromstad in 1963 in Tucson, Ariz. He died April 1, 1999. Ms. Stromstad attended Irving School in Ada after moving to this area from Tupelo, Okla., in 1923. Some of her jobs she had through her life included working at a glass plant in Ada, owning and operating a motel after moving to Durant, Okla., in 1956, and she was a homemaker. In 1961, she moved to Bisbee, Ariz., and then to Tucson, Ariz. She had also lived in Seguin, Texas, Green Valley, Ariz., Douglas, Ariz., and moved to Fittstown, Okla., in 1978. she moved back to Ada in 1995 and moved to St. Louis, Mo., in 1999. She was a longtime member of the Fittstown United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Mike Martin, Abilene, Texas, and George A. Martin and his wife, Carol, New Haven, Mo.; three grandsons, Michael Clarence Martin, McKinney, Texas, Zachary Martin, Nacogdoches, Texas, and Lee Martin, Olathe, Kan. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George, Martin; her second husband, Ralph J. Stromstad; her parents, George and Lou Sinda Lee; three brothers, R.D. Lee, G.G.
