Burial is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Elmore City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones died Feb. 26, 2006, at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1919, at Antioch, to Elmer and Demie Payne Pelfrey. She attended school at Walker. She lived in the Elmore City and Pauls Valley areas most of her life. She married Virgil Jones Oct. 1, 1941, at Pauls Valley. He died Nov. 23, 1971, at Oklahoma City. Mrs. Jones was employed at Pauls Valley State School, motels, and nursing homes most of her life. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and a former member of Paul and Pine Church of Christ, Pauls Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Johney Lee Jones; four brothers; and two sisters. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Allen. She and Bill Cathey were married for more than 48 years. Mrs. Cathey was preceeded in death by her husband Bill Cathey, parents Amos and Anne Hyde, daughter Billie Ann Pettett, son-in-law Ray Pettett, and grandson Billy Ray Willeby. Burial follows at Oaklawn Cemetery, Sulphur. Mr. Droke died Feb. 28, 2006, at a Norman hospital. He was born March 20, 1930, to William A. and Josephine M. Darnell Droke. He attended school at Ada High School. He married Beryl Jean Moore Feb. 2, 1950. She died May 30, 2001. Jerry and Jean moved to the Los Angeles area in 1951 where all three of their sons were born. They moved back to Oklahoma in 1962, living first at Hickory, then Sulphur, and finally the Ada/Byng area where he worked for OG & E Konawa Generating Plant. He retired from the OG & E Corporation in 1987 after nearly 20 years of service. He moved to Norman in 2004 to be near his son, Farrel Droke. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sons, Marty Droke in 1969, and Denny Droke in 1979; a brother, Earnest Droke; and two sisters, Bette Threlkeld and Essie Frye. Survivors include a son, Farrel Droke and wife Julie, Norman. Mrs. Roundtree was a member of the Happyland Free Will Baptist Church, where she served in many positions within the church. Mr. Wilson was an insurance agent and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Konawa. She married Ernie McGuire Sept. 17, 1960, at Oklahoma City. Mrs. McGuire was employed with Lambert, Roberts and Jaques, and later with Johnson and Thompson attorneys. She retired from Pre-Paid Legal Services in 2004 after 15 years of service. Roberts died March 1, 2006, at an Oklahoma City nursing facility. He was born April 16, 1916, at Howe, Okla., to James and Emma King Roberts. He moved back to the Ada area in 1996 from Oklahoma City. He attended grade school at Springhill and graduated from Monroe High School at Monroe, Okla., in 1935. He attended Northeastern State College and graduated in 1941 with a major in math. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated in 1957, and received his Master of Divinity degree in 1962. He was awarded an honorary doctor's degree by Langston University. Roberts was a school teacher and principal at Monroe Public Schools. He served as pastor at Monroe Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Roff, Dickson Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, First Baptist Church, Anadarko, and First Southern Baptist Church, Del City. He served as director of the department of missions for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, director of Falls Creek Baptist Assembly, and later Director of Annuity Services for the Baptist General Convention for many years. In his retirement he served as chaplain of Ada Baptist Village. He married Artice Earp at Poteau. She preceded him in death Jan. 1, 1997. He was also preceded in death by a son, Whit Roberts; a brother, Jess Roberts; and a sister, Minnie Roberts. Survivors include a daughter, Lawana Roberts, Oklahoma City; two granddaughters, Mika Roberts Strong and husband Jeremy, Allen, and Story Roberts Maxwell and husband Willie, Oklahoma City; a great- grandson, Gehrig Lee Strong; a great-granddaughter, Abbey Grace Strong; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Reinauer died March 6, 2006, at Fittstown. He was born Nov. 15, 1946, at Hereford, Texas, to Joseph Frank and Violet Earhart Leckie Reinauer. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1965. He received a ba degree from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas. Mr. Reinauer was commissioned an ensign with the United States Navy in June ,1969, upon graduation from the NROTC program at the University of Texas, where he had been a member of the Longhorn Flying Club. He began his active duty service at NAS Pensacola, Fla., flying the T-34B trainer. He flew the T-2B jet trainer at Meridian, Miss., and the TA-4B at NAS Chase Field, Beeville, Texas, where he earned his Navy Wings of Gold. Reinauer's first operational squadron was flying the A-7 Corsair attack jet at NAS Cecil Field at Jacksonville, Fla. He was twice deployed on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt to the Mediterranean Sea. Lt. Reinauer left active duty in 1974 and returned to Hereford, where he helped with the management of the Reinauer family's farm and ranch operations. He was a pilot for Braniff Airlines and continued to serve in a fighter squadron as a Naval Reserve Officer at NAS Dallas, flying first the F-8 Crusader, then the F-4 Phantom II. In 1984, Reinauer returned to business as a cattleman and commodity broker at Hereford. In 1987, he became a pilot for American Airlines. After an inter- service transfer to the U. S. Air Force Reserves, he flew the RF4-C and the F-16 Fighting Falcon, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in the 1990s. Reinauer continued his career as a captain at American Airlines flying the MD-80, 757, and 767. He was an instructor and check airman at the American Airlines Flying Academy. He married Susie Barrow in 1991, at Reno, Nev. They moved to Fittstown from Flower Mound, Texas, in 2000. Mr. Reinauer attended the Fittstown Church of Christ. Burial was in the Little Fork Burying Ground. Mr. Cox died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at the home of his daughter, Carolyn Fox, in Rixeyville, Virginia. He was born Nov. 29, 1912, in Hugo to William Templeton Cox and Julia Ann Campbell Cox. He was preceded in death by his five brothers, John, Haskell, Elbert, Lester and Billy Cox. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Beulah Mae Cox, of Ada, now residing in Rixeyville, Va.; his daughter Carolyn Fox, Rixeyville, Va.; two sons, Lowell Ray Cox, Waco, Texas, and Ron D. Cox, Ada; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. At the age of 16, Mr. Cox began driving for the Red Ball bus line, started by his brother John, which ran from Hugo to Durant. He later drove for the Denco bus lines in Ada, as one of their first drivers, transporting troops to Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Lawton to be inducted. He also drove for Greyhound bus lines. Mr. Cox moved on to operating food concessions in bus stations in Seminole, Chickasha and Lindsey and opened his first restaurant in Enid. In 1953 Mr. Cox moved to Madill where he opened Cox's Dairy Bar on Highway 70. In 1971 Mr. Cox sold the Dairy Bar and moved to Ada where he owned and operated Cox's Drive-In (formerly known as Jerry's) until retiring in 1976. While living in Madill Mr. Cox was a member of the Madill Church of Christ. He was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ in Ada. He served three and one-half years in the U. S. Army Dental Corps. He practiced dentistry in Ada for 47 years, and served as chairman of the State Dental Association and also the Peer Review Committee for 10 years. He received the Man of the Year in Dentistry, was a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry, and Fellow of the International College of Dentistry. He was a member and past president of Ada Lion's Club, served on the Ada Public Library Board, was elected two terms on the Ada Board of Education, served on the board of directors of First United Bank, board member of the Ada Housing Authority, and served a nine-year term on the Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges. He received a B.S. from ECU in 2000, was named a Distinguished Alumnus at ECU, received the Milam Award (the sports award), and served on the Salvation Army board. Upon retirement, Dr. Thomas took over management of the ECU Foundation, of which he was one of the founders. Dr. Thomas was an active member of First United Methodist Church, and served on the church board for many years, serving one year as chairman. He married Ethel Faye "Tot" Tomlin Oct. 10, 1942.
