All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Santa Rosa Memorial Park--Windsor CA Santa Rosa Press Democrat Published on January 25, 1997 LETHA GARCIA Letha Garcia, who worked as a waitress at the old Greyhound Bus Depot at Fifth and B streets in Santa Rosa, died Jan. 17 at a Santa Rosa convalescent hospital due to kidney failure. She was 75. She was born in Ada, Okla., and moved to Sonoma County in 1951 from Coolidge, Ariz. She also worked at The Big Geysers Resort before the geothermal development, and was a waitress at the Little Diner on Mendocino Avenue. After she retired, she accompanied her truck-driving husband, Gilbert Garcia, on some of his California runs and long hauls. Her husband died in 1981. Garcia enjoyed gardening, especially tending flowers. She also liked to crochet and knit. She was a member of the Degree of Honor and the Waunoma Council 52, Degree of Pocahontas. She is survived by her daughter, Lily Puterbaugh of Santa Rosa; son, Rudy Feliz of Stockton; sisters, Lucy Bouroughs, Leora Miller and Lillian Scoggins, all in Arizona, and Wynnona Eastman in Montana; brothers, Wilford Goodwin in Arizona, Hewbert Goodwin in Washington, Frank Goodwin of Eureka and Tom Goodwin of Sunnyvale; by six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
