All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rosedale Cemetery--Ada OK LOUISE PERRY ADA - Services for Delma Louise Perry, 77, Ada, are 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, the Revs. John Haynes and Jamie Perry will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Perry died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at a local hospital. She was born April 15, 1930, at San Angelo, Texas, to Roy Holland and Mattie Louise Phillips Searcy. She attended elementary school in San Angelo, graduated from the Buckner Orphan Home in Dallas and attended East Central University. She moved to this area in 1967 from the Lake Texoma area. She married Hollis Reid Perry Sept. 12, 1950, in San Angelo, Texas. He died in 1990 at Ada. Mrs. Perry was a licensed vocational nurse and worked as a nurse's aide at Ada Retirement Center and later was a cook at the Village Inn. She was a member of First Baptist Church, sang in the choir and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mrs. Perry was a member of the "Red Hat Society." She served in the U. S. Army from 1948 until 1949 as a member of the WACS. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Dalton Perry, Ada, and Benjamin "Ben" Ray Perry, Tulsa; a daughter, Linda Louise Perry Hunsucker, Tulsa; three brothers, Roy Dean Searcy, Yakum, Wash., Jessie Eugene Searcy, Guinny, N.M., and Paul Winston Searcy, Pawnee; 10 grandchildren, Kim MacCollister, Jamie Perry, Amber Carlos, Michael Zetterberg, Angie Hunsucker, Trey Hunsucker, Alicia Johnson, Cathleen Page, Jennifer Perry and Zachary Perry; and 15 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Esther Merle Perry; a brother, Dalton Gerrel Searcy; and a sister, Avise Mearle Searcy. Bearers will be Michael Zetterberg, Trey Hunsucker, Jamie Perry, Dink Carlos, James MacCollister and Zachary Perry.
