::Lakeview Cemetery--Memphis TX

George W. Pierce

PLASKA - George W. Pierce, 87, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003.

Graveside services will be at 6 p.m. today in Lakeview Cemetery with 
the Rev. David Veazey officiating. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral 
Home of Memphis.

Mr. Pierce was born May 21, 1916, in Pontotoc County, Okla. He 
married Kathaleen Stone on Nov. 19, 1938, in Memphis.

Survivors include a son, Clenton Pierce of Amarillo; five daughters, 
Elizabeth Billington of Amarillo, Naomi Bailey and Nellie Lambert, 
both of Childress, Lois Crone of Midwest City, Okla., and Violet 
Waller of Amarillo; 16 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.
