"Dub" Scott BORGER - W.J. "Dub" Scott, of Borger, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Skaggs officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors. Mr. Scott was a native of Ada, Okla., and had been a Borger resident for 45 years. He was a sales clerk with Baily Motor Co. and a veteran of World War II, where he served in the Navy. He also was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Gwyn Scott; five sons, Mark Scott of Austin, Kevin Scott of Borger, Jay Scott of Austin, Sam Scott of Amarillo and Jack Scott of Bartlesville, Okla.; four daughters, Ruth Gomez of Borger, Joyce Scott of Austin, Becky Prager of Las Vegas and Martha Del Venture of St. Louis; a brother, Floyd Scott of White Deer; two sisters, Doris Cole of Pampa and Paula Swain of Security, Colo.; and 14 grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Pontotoc County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/pontotoc/pontotoc.html
