Ward Sr., Billy Curtis    

Billy Curtis Ward Sr. Oct. 17, 1934 - Sept. 5, 2007 Billy Curtis Ward 
Sr. was born October 17, 1934, in Oil Center, Oklahoma and he went 
home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2007, in Bakersfield with 
his family by his side. Bill grew up working hard for his sisters. 
Bill worked hard all his life for his wife and children and people 
around him that knew him. He dedicated his life to his work until his 
illness took his life. We all love you Dad. Bill is survived by his 
wife, Rita Ward; three children, John Carver, Curtis Ward, and Tina 
Ward; two sisters, Pat Pike, and Judy Ward; one brother, Anthony 
Ward; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation 
will be Monday, September 10th, from 4-8 p.m., with a chapel service 
on Tuesday, September 11th, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park 
& Mortuary.
