Mr. Bardin taught at East Central University as a professor in the Business Education and Office Technology Department from 1970-2008. He was also a certified public accountant. He was a member of Ada Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 1640, and Beta Alpha Psi – National Accounting Fraternity. He was born June 11, 1921 near Frisco, Oklahoma to Henry and Eva Jennings Neal. He lived in this area all his life and attended Ada schools. He married Minnie Lee Teel on November 21, 1942. She preceded him in death on January 23, 1998. They were married for 56 years. Mr. Neal was employed with Frisco Railroad and later was employed with the City of Ada as the sexton of Rosedale Cemetery. He was employed with the City of Ada from 1958 retiring in 1986. He was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church and served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Survivors include two sons, Kenny Neal and wife Eloise, Lawton and Tommy Neal, Ada; two brothers, Robert Neal, Ada, and Don Neal, Amarillo, Texas; one sister, Barbara Huckabee and husband Ed, Sherman, Texas; and a grandson, Kevin Neal and wife Lyna, Lawton. He and his family moved to the Ada area in 1967 from Bristow. They moved to Kingston in 1995. Mr. Kimmel was employed with Halliburton and was also a farmer, and he was a member of the Enos Church of Christ. The Rev. Bauch died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at his home. He was born Oct. 30, 1933, at Sparks, Neb., to William and Mary Kuhl Bauch. He attended school in Sparks, Neb. He married Margie Lou Pogue June 21, 1957. He and his family moved to Ada in 1978 from Moore. The Rev. Bauch was part owner in Theissen and Wilson Tires (T & W Tires) in Ada. He was a member of Sunshine Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as pastor for more than 25 years. He was a Past Worshipful Master of the Ada Lodge 119 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons and had served in the U.S. Army from March 1, 1955 until Feb. 28, 1957. Survivors include his wife, Margie Bauch, of the home; a daughter, Delinda Garrett and husband Jerry, Ada; a son, Paul Bauch, Ada; two brothers, August Bauch, Palmer, Texas, and Oscar Bauch, Kearney, Neb.; three sisters, Cathy Bierman, Longmont, Colo., Shirley Ross, Winner, South Dakota, and Lucille Mitchell, Valentine, Nebraska; and a granddaughter, Allison Garrett, Ada. Ed Bray will officiate. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at South Heights Cemetery, 1815 S. Ridgeway Street in Sapulpa. Mr. DePrater died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at an Ada hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1935, in Sapulpa to William J. and Maude DePrater. He lived in Keifer until he was 12 when his family moved to Konawa. He attended Vamoosa schools and graduated in 1953. He then attended Bethany Penile (now known as Bethany Nazarene) in Bethany. He graduated with a bachelor of science in chemistry from East Central University in 1958, and was employed by Oklahoma State Department of Health. He received a Public Health Service Grant to attend the University of Oklahoma where he received a masters degree in Sanitary Science and Public Health (Industrial Hygiene). He continued his career with the Bureau of Mines at the Helium plant in Keys, Okla., and later he transferred to the Bartlesville Petroleum Research division where he worked in Physical Chemistry in the development of rocket fuels and propellents. He was co-author on several scientific papers out of this facility. He transferred to the Public Health Service and was the chief chemist on the Delaware Estuary Study working to clean up the Delaware and Raritan Rivers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He developed several tests to study estuary waters. He also taught mini classes in Mass- Spectroscopy at Rutgers University and CC&Y. He transferred to the Robert S. Kerr Regional Laboratory in Ada., in 1965, and worked there until 1982. He married Ann Brewer in 1956. Survivors include two sons, William DePrater and wife, Shawna of Ada, and Bruce DePrater of Fresno, Calif., three daughters, Cindy DePrater of The Colony, Texas, Cheryl Gurley and husband, Gary of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Stacy Shelton and husband, Douglas of Norman; two grandchildren, Brealyn Brashier and Oliver Shelton; two sisters, Vera Bland and Margaret Paxton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William J. DePrater, who died in 1963, and his mother, Maude Stephens DePrater who died in 1996. Mrs. Anderson was a registered nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital retiring after 35 years of service. Later, she worked part-time at Jan Frances Care Center and Ballard Nursing home. She married Elton Anderson in 1961 at Bartlesville. He died Feb. 3, 2000. She grew up in the Worstell Community, and attended Walnut Grove and Vanoss schools. She lived in California most of her life and returned to Oklahoma in 1998. She married Delmer Nye in May 1984. He died in February 1995. Mrs. Nye was a homemaker and affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Tate and wife Marianne, Ogden, Utah, Larry Tate and wife Barbara, Amarillo, Texas, and Darrell Tate and wife Beau, Hope, Ark.; one brother, Jim Tilley, Sand Springs; one sister, Betty Flippo, Tulsa; several nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
