Ms. Seals was a homemaker and was baptized at Reaper Baptist Church in Ada and attended Greater Bethel Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. She joined Northtown Church of Christ in McAlester about 1965. She has attended Tupelo Church of Christ for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Cecilia "Tealie" Woods, son Robert Earl Wicker, her twin sister, Faye Woods, and nephews John and Ronnie Bills. He graduated from Ada High School and received an associate degree from Haskell Indian Junior College in Lawrence, Kan. He lived in this area most of his life and had moved to Marshalltown several years ago. Mr. Colbert was a carpenter and as a youth he was an altar boy with the Episcopal church near Richmond, Va. He was a combat veteran and served in the U.S. Army from May 6, 1968, to May 5, 1974. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal for serving recon missions on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was third grade Sunday School teacher, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a parent volunteer at Vanoss Public Schools where her daughters attended, a member of Sisters FBCA and American Society of Clinical Pathology. Survivors include her husband, Shawn Reeves, of the home; three daughters, Hayley, Grace and Mallory Reeves, all of the home; her father, Sam L. She retired from Fisher Properties in 1983. She moved to Oklahoma City in 2002 and lived with her daughter until her death. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Ada. She and her family moved back to the Stonewall area in the early 1960s. Mrs. Terry was a homemaker and a longtime active member of the First Baptist Church in Stonewall. In 2005, she chartered the Red Hat Society in Stonewall. He was born December 4, 1920 at Wellston, Oklahoma to Charles T. and Docia Griffin Bates. He and his family moved to Ada in 1921 from Wellston. He attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School. At the age of 16, he attended the University of Oklahoma and received a Bachelor of Science degree as a Geological Engineer. He joined the U. S. Air Force in World War II and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant. He married Helene Haley on February 29, 1948 in Ada, Oklahoma. She died February 18, 2002 in Ada. He later married Pansy M. Cradduck on February 14, 2004. Mr. Bates was a Lease Broker, a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, a member of the Salvation Army Board of Directors, where he received many awards, a member of the Gideons International, where he donated many bibles to various churches around the state, and the Kiwanis Club of Ada. He received many awards with the Kiwanis Club and had perfect attendance for 43 years. Survivors include his wife, Pansy Bates, of the home; his brother, James Bates and wife Swane, Shawnee Mission, KS; a sister-in-law, LaVerne Bates, Ada; nephews, Dennis Bates, Byron Bates, Jimmie Bates and Richard Bates and wife Posie; nieces, Cindy Steinberg, Donna Forrest, and Pam Nuenke; and many great nieces and nephews. She was on the East Central University faculty in the Home Economics department. She also worked as a licensed dietitian for the Chickasaw Nation. Ken Angel will officiate. Mrs. Ramsey died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 26, 1918, near Sasakwa to Cary Monroe and Martha Elizabeth Jones. She lived in this area most of her life and attended Vamoosa schools. Mrs. Ramsey was a cook for J.D.'s Café, retiring after 27 years of service. She married Earl Ramsey Jan. 1, 1963. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Neontha Harrison and husband Sonny, Roff, Delores Smith and husband Kenneth, Ada, and Elizabeth Horton and husband Earl, Ada; three sons, Bob Williamson, Arkoma, Glen Ray Williamson and wife Sharon, Penn Valley, Calif., and Tommy Williamson and wife Suzzette, Lone Grove; 15 grandchildren; 32 great- grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Clifford Jones, Checotah. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon Monday until 1 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Crumb died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at an Allen nursing home. She was born June 27, 1922 near Wetumka to Charles Walter and Ethel Leona Caton Clayton. She attended school in five local school districts, graduating as a salutatorian from Hickory High School in 1941 and attended East Central State College before going to work at Hazel Atlas Glass Company. She married T.A. Crumb on Oct. 18, 1942, in Denton, Texas. He died July 5, 1973. She and her husband owned and operated Crumb's Auto Service of Ada for 17 years. In 1964, she became licensed as a nutritionist at East Central and served as director of food services at McCall's Chapel for 27 years, retiring in 1990. She was an active member of Free Will Baptist Churches in Oakman, Ada and Allen for 74 years. She served as a Sunday school and Vacation Bible School teacher for several years and worked with the Ladies Missionary Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, John Alton Crumb and wife Barb, Canton, Ill., and Clay Anthony Crumb, Allen; a daughter, T. Aola Parker and husband Mark, Allen; a sister, Evelyn Speake and husband Claude, Fort Worth, Texas; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Trudy Ann D'Veney of Ada, and a brother, John David Clayton of Arlington, Va. She was born Dec. 2, 1917, at Stonewall, Okla., to Walter and Nellie Henderson Miller. She married Leo Ray McNinch. He died Oct. 1, 1996 Mrs. McNinch was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Gayle McNinch Moran and husband Bill, Mt.
