Cloud, Thurn E.

Graveside funeral services will be held in the  on Tuesday, May 1, 
2007 at 1:00 p.m. for longtime Maricopa resident, Thurn E. Cloud, 81. 
Mr. Cloud was born in Stonewall, Oklahoma on July 17, 1925 and passed 
away in Bakersfield on April 25, 2007. Mr. Cloud was involved in Taft 
Little League during the 1950s and was inducted into the Hall of 
Fame. He was the pastor of the Wasco Freewill Baptist Church for 20 
years. Mr. Cloud enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and writing 
country gospel music. His survivors include his wife of 64 years, 
Gracie Cloud of Maricopa; his son and daughter-in-law, Lyndal and 
Edna Cloud of Taft; his daughter and son- in-law, Dianna and Harold 
Dandridge of San Diego; his grandchildren and their spouses, Tanya 
and Brad Kilmer of Bakersfield, Kevin Cloud and his fiancée, Lenetta 
Mills of Bakersfield, Michelle and Kevin George of Taft, Danny 
Dandridge of San Diego and Shawna and Dave Preston of Bakersfield; 
and by his nine great- grandchildren. Those who wish to pay their 
respects may do so on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and again on 
Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Erickson & Brown Funeral 
Home. The family extends a heartfelt Thank You to all the doctors, 
nurses and patients at the Bakersfield Dialysis Center. You all have 
become like family during this time in our lives. Thurn E. Cloud July
