Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Community Hospice of Texas, 6100 Western Place, Suite 500, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. JoAnn was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Allen, Okla., to Daniel and Ruth Johnson. She was an avid reader and collected books. JoAnn played golf, tennis and bridge and loved swimming. She was a member of the Fort Worth Music Forum and the garden club. JoAnn was a member of McKinney Memorial Bible Church, where she taught fifth- and sixth- grade Sunday school. She was very loved and will be missed by all. Survivors: Husband, Fran Gattis of Crowley; son, Mark Gattis and wife, Sharon, of Vernon Hills, Ill.; granddaughters, Kelly Berdugo of Montreal, Canada, and Julie Catherine Gattis of Groesbeck; great- grandchildren, Brenden and Noah Jacob; and nieces, Judy Ferrell of Fort Worth and Barbara Weatherby of Stephenville.
