George W. Herron

August 24, 1922  June 19, 2003

George was born in Ada, Oklahoma and passed away in Bakersfield, CA, 
after a long illness.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Viola Herron; 
brother, Haskell; wife, Dorothy Herron. He is survived by his 
brother, Dwayne Herron of Weldon, CA; sister, Virginia Lackey; 
brother-in-law, Harold Lackey of Checotah, OK; stepdaughters, Lavada 
Hewes and Mary Seward; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

George loved fishing, hunting and family BBQs. He served in the U.S. 
Army in WWII. He retired from National Oil Company of Bakersfield .

There will be no services at this time.
