All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Cremated Johnson, William Floyd William Floyd Johnson, Memorial service for William Floyd Johnson, 84, of Lexington, SC will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Presbyterian Communities of SC – Columbia Home, 700 DaVega Drive, Lexington, SC, officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Michael Bragan, The Rev. Blainey Pridgen, and The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt. The family will receive friends following the service. Inurnment will be Saturday, February 24, 2007 in Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Surfside Beach at 3 p.m. Memorials may be made to Presbyterian Communities of SC, Columbia Home Chapel Fund or St. Mary's Episcopal Church Building Fund. Mr. Johnson passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2007. Born in Ada, Oklahoma he was the son of the late Henry and Mozelle Johnson. Formerly of Surfside Beach he has been an area resident for the past two years and a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Mr. Johnson retired from the United States Weather Service after many years of service. Survived by his spouse Alfreda "Pete" Johnson of Lexington; daughters, Rose Garrett of Memphis, TN and JoAnn Johnson of Myrtle Beach.
