Gladys V. (Brumley) Martin "Mimmie"

Gladys V. Martin was born in Ada, Oklahoma, February 17, 1909, and 
went to be with the Lord, September 23, 2002, in Longview, WA.

Gladys was one of the founders and charter member of the Southwest 
Christian Center, Bakersfield, CA. She was a very devoted member of 
the church and loved the Lord which was instrumental in leading 
numerous people and loved ones to Christ. Her Christian influence was 
felt by everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud A. Martin who passed 
away in 1983, and son, Darrell B. Martin who passed away in 1932. She 
is survived by her son, Wendell Martin and wife, Elma of Bakersfield; 
daughter, Gimmie Nutt and husband, Bill of Longview, WA; daughter, 
Reba McNamee of Visalia; one brother, Yakima Brumley of Bluejacket, 
OK; one sister, Gerldine Harmon of Bakersfield; and numerous 
grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m., Sunday, September 29, at the 
Bakersfield Family Funeral Directors, 701 34th St. Funeral services 
will be held on Monday the 30th, at 11:00 a.m., at Southwest 
Christian Center, 3700 Stine Rd.

She will be Loved and missed by her family and church family.
