Alvie Albert Meek 1911 - 2003

Alvie Albert Meek was born on October 16, 1911 in Maxwell, Oklahoma 
and passed away May 23, 2003 in Bakersfield at the age of 91. Alvie 
spent most of his life as a farmer and a foreman at the Forrest Frick 
Farms.

Alive is survived by his children, Willard Meek and family, of St. 
George, Utah; LaVone Pearce and family, of Lancaster, CA; Joyce Lee 
Pulliam and  family of Stockton, CA; step-children, Mary Ann Uhl, 
Gary Gould and Leon Gould; sisters, Pearl Clark (age 101) and Lyllian 
Williams (age 93); brother Calvin Leroye Meek (age 88); 10 
grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great 
grandchildren.

Chapel services will be Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest 
Mortuary. Visitation will be Thursday, 10 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. at 
Hillcrest.
