Mosier CLAYTON, N.M. - Floyd W. Mosier, 81, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 1998, in Clayton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church in Clayton with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors. Mr. Mosier was born in Francis, Okla. He graduated from high school in Ada, Okla., and received his degree in industrial arts and education from East Central State College in Ada. He served in the Army during World War II and began teaching industrial arts in 1948 in Sedan, N.M. He retired in 1979, having taught school in Sedan, Clayton, Folsom, Springer, Floyd and Deming. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and First Baptist Church of Clayton. He married Frances Louise Castillo in 1942. She preceded him in death in 1962. He married Maxine Krause in 1963. She preceded him in death in July. Survivors include a son, Floyd Wayne Mosier of Clayton; two daughters, Lynda Mosier of Clayton and Nancy Naranjo of Roswell, N.M.; a stepson, Billy Krause of Amarillo; two stepdaughters, Cindy Krause of Amarillo and Linda Krause Zaretsky of Los Angeles; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Clayton Cemetery Fund, Clayton, N.M. 88415, or to the Macular Degeneration Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 9752, San Jose, CA 95157.
