::Rosedale Cemetery--Ada OK

Firn Marie Nickell

Firn Marie Nickell, 83, of Amarillo, formerly of Ada, Okla., died 
Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Faith Assembly of God Church in 
Ada with the Rev. Billy Nickell and the Rev. Jerad Middaugh 
officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Ada by Criswell 
Funeral Home of Ada.

Mrs. Nickell was born July 7, 1920, in the Lovelady community, east 
of Ada. She married Olen James Nickell on Dec. 28, 1938.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Barnes of Amarillo; a son, Billy 
Nickell of Amarillo; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four 
brothers, Willard Sliger, Robert A. Sliger, J.B. Sliger and Royce 
Sliger, all of Ada; six sisters, Arvana Hobbs, Vera Deaton, Edith 
Flowers and Jane Hatfield, all of Ada, Verlie Flowers of Oklahoma 
City and June McCauley of Fort Worth.

The family suggests memorials be to First Assembly of God Church in 
Amarillo or to the Marie Nickell Fund.
