Roger Brown and Rev. Frank Trent officiating. Interment was in Dolberg Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. Born August 11, 1932 in Sulphur to Cecil Britt and Mattie Castleberry Britt, she died Thursday, April 14 in Roff. On October 10, 1980, she married W. A. "Dub" Odom at Roff. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1985. She had lived in this area all her life and worked as a beautician. She also owned and operated a cafe and a dairy. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church. Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Bobbie and Bob Fennell, Ada and LaDonna and Mike Carter, Sulphur; two sons and their wives, Carroll and Doretta Hayes, Sulphur and John and Mary Hayes, Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Tiny Wilson, Roff and Faye and Mae Rankin, both of Sulphur; six brothers, Alfred Britt, Roff, A. J. Britt, Jim Britt, Lonnie Britt, Ed Britt, all of Sulphur and Larry Britt, Hodgen; 18 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and a special grandson, Joseph Burrows. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Darrell Hayes; a sister, Louise Price; a niece, Lorene Black and a great nephew, Keith Pace. Pallbearers were Zach Ott, Bart Castleberry, Larry Horton, Ronnie Harper, Bret Chandler and Bryon Rankin.
