John Debs Palmer

John Debs Palmer, 89, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Central Church of the 
Nazarene with the Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Burial will be in Llano 
Cemetery by Holley Funeral Home Inc. of Canyon.

Mr. Palmer was born in Ada, Okla. He had been a mechanic and shop 
foreman at Pantex. He was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene.

He married Willie Frances Ramer in 1927 at Ada.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandy Cappelli of Wichita 
Falls and Kim Young of Dallas; a brother, Ed Palmer of Phoenix; a 
sister, Garnett Stodghill of Plainview; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-
grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
