All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Shafter Cemetery--Shafter CA Robins, Tommy Charles Tommy Charles Robins Feb. 4, 1936 - Nov. 10, 2006 Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 15th, 11:00 a.m., at Shafter Cemetery, 13662 Santa Fe Way, Shafter, CA. Tommy Robins passed away November 10, 2006, in Bakersfield, California. Tommy was born in Ada, Oklahoma but like many other seeds of the Dust Bowl came to California and spent most of his life in Bakersfield working the oilfields of Kern County, and in the past few years was owner and operator of Rite-Way Pumping. Tommy was one of eleven brothers and one sister, all spread out from Oklahoma to California. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Robins; his brothers, Herman, Ralph (Blackie), Gerald, Harrold (Blondie), Earl (Toad), Luther (Fat), Burl, and Bob (Dinky). He is survived by his brothers, Troy and Doyle; and only sister, Catherine (Sis); his loving wife, Delight; his five children, Donna Martin, Sondra Sanchez, Dennis and Tommy Robins, and Susan Roberts; three stepchildren, Denise Turk, Jerry Sanders and Gary Sanders; 22 grandchildren, Melissa Gratt, Felix Sanchez, Mathew Sanchez, Keith Rae Robins, Malarie Robins, Tommy J. Robins, Keri Robins, Brandi Whitsitt, Marsha Scott, Lindsey Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Sherry Fannell, Larry Martin, Ryan Turk, Kevin Turk, Jason Turk, Jennifer Holman, Greg Sanders and 4 grandchildren who called him "Dad", Amber, Garrett, Grant, and Amanda Sanders; and 10 great-grandchildren, Drew Whitsitt, Joshua Scott, Kara and Kiersten Fannell, Brooke Fortner, Brynnlee Gratt, Delaney Robins, Makenna Robins, Kaden Turk and Coleton Sanders.
