Leonard Ausbie Thompson

Services: Friday, July 20, 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 
Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Ln., Friday, July 20 
at 11 a.m. for Leonard Ausbie Thompson, 66, who passed away July 16, 
2001 in a local hospital. Pastor Randy Martin will officiate. Leonard 
was born January 15, 1935 in Ada, Oklahoma and had resided in Kern 
County for 61 years. He was a truck driver for 20 years and was last 
employed with Dyes Transfer and Storage. Leonard is survived by his 
daughter, Vickie Thompson; sons, Rick and Randy Thompson, all of 
Bakersfield; grandchildren, Donny Leming, Danny Leming and Tiffany 
Thompson; great grandchildren, Tayla Leming, Brandon Leming and 
Amanda Leming; sister, Karen Ragel; cousin, Tommy Thompson, both of 
Bakersfield; and many nephews. No visitation is scheduled. Greenlawn 
Southwest Mortuary Funeral Directors.
