Travis, Eva Lee

Visitation for Eva Lee Travis will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles Street) on Friday, May 5, 2006 from 10:00-1:00 p.m. with 
chapel services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pastor Ron Yohn will officiate. Eva was born 
February 17, 1929 in Fitzhugh, Oklahoma to Herbert and Sally Cannon 
and she passed away April 30, 2006 in Bakersfield, California. She is 
preceded in death by her husband, Ben Travis Sr. and her son, Benny 
Travis Jr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lester and 
Joyce Travis; son and daughter-in-law, James and Carlene Travis; son, 
Stevie Travis; son, Donald Travis; son, Johnny Travis; son, Donny 
Travis; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, 
Floyd Cannon; sister, Nettie Seibly as well as numerous nieces, 
nephews, other relatives and friends. Eva was an avid reader and she 
enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing yahtzee with her family and watching 
crime t.v. shows. She was loved by all that knew her and she will be
