He was born in Ada, Okla., and was a carpenter. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Carpenters Union in Ventura. Survivors include his daughters, Dawnell Robertson of Bishop, Jeannee Brockman and Tina Welton-Jones of California and Robin Darrow of Escondido; sons, Warren Welton of Banning and Michael Welton of Tucson; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Services: 1:45 p.m. tomorrow, with military honors, Staging Area 8, Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside. Inurnment: Riverside National Cemetery.
