All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Ada Evening News, Ada, OK, Pontotoc County Wednesday, January 28, 2009 KATHY GUDERIAN age 48 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was called to the Lord suddenly Thursday, January 22, 2009 from St. Francis Hospital Tulsa. She was born on January 4, 1961 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Kenneth C. Wilson and Janet A. (Whetsel) Wilson who survive. Kathy graduated from Uniontown Area Senior High School in 1979. She attended Grove City College and graduated in 1983 with a BS degree in business administration. Kathy was married for more than 22 years to her soul mate Bryan with whom she had three beautiful daughters, Lauren, Kristen and Megan. Kathy had great faith in the Lord, was active in numerous bible studies, and was a member of Kirk of The Hills Presbyterian Church. She raised her daughters into beautiful, young Christian ladies, just as she was. Kathy loved life dearly and positively impacted everyone around her. She spent much of her life working for others and rarely turned down an opportunity to serve a good cause. Kathy passionately loved her family and many South Tulsa and Jenks friends. One of her most enjoyable activities was supporting Jenks cheer and pom. She loved supporting her daughters and the interests they pursued. She also loved her Bichon’s, Millie and Winnie. Her selfless love was evidenced by her commitment to organ donation so that others could continue life. She was known by all for her meticulous planning, coordination and organization. In particular, Kathy was known for her quick wit and knack for solving problems. She came to the rescue of many school projects. She poured her heart and soul into everything she did, even the smallest tasks. She unselfishly put everyone else’s needs before her own. She was always there to listen and give advice when anyone had a problem. She was a remarkable person and we were so lucky to have been blessed by her presence and touched by her uplifting spirit. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kenneth C. and Alberta Whetsel and her paternal grandparents, Clark and Kate Wilson and father-in-law Gene Guderian. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Bryan Guderian, daughters Lauren, Kristen, and Megan all at home. Sister Linda (Wilson) Adams and husband Larry of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Mother-in-law, Carolyn Nickell, Silver City, New Mexico, Brothers-in-law, David Nickell, Tulsa and Brandon Guderian and Shonda of Edmond, Grandmother-in-law, Imogene Trimble of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a niece Hope Guderian of Edmond. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Kathy’s honor to the Jenks Pom/Cheer Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Jenks Public Schools Activity Fund. Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00pm Saturday, January 24, 2009 and 3:00 – 6:00pm Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial service was held at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 4102 East 61st Street, at 1 pm., Monday, January 26, 2009 followed by a reception at the church.
