All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Tussy Cemetery--Garvin County OK *Ada Evening News, Ada, OK, Pontotoc County Tuesday, December 1, 2009 DAPHNE HARDEN Daphne Harden, long-time resident of Vanoss, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009. Daphne was born to W.W. and Claudine Berry at Tussy, Oklahoma on July 20, 1915, and attended Pernell school. She married Jack Harden on Ocdtober 12th 1932; he was an independent oil and gas producer in Tulsa. They raised 4 boys and retired to the Vanoss community in 1968. Daphne was a member of the Vanoss Extension Homemakers Club for many years and was an avid fisherwoman. Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by her husband who passed away in 1970; her parents; her first born son, Franklin Miles who passed away in 1943 and a number of siblings. Survivors include: 3 - sons Jay, Dennis and Larry Harden all of Stratford, Oklahoma. 1 - sister Joyce Quick of Tussy Oklahoma 6 - grandchilderen Teresa, Kelly, Allan, Larry, Jason and Ernest 5 - great-grandsons Brandon, Austin, Anthony, Andrew, Christopher and Dillon 2 - great-granddaughters Emily and Annabelle 1 - great-great-granddaughter Bralee; numerous nephews and nieces. Graveside funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Tussy Center, Tussy, Oklahoma with Pastor Clyde Quick officiating.
