All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Ada Evening News, Ada, OK, Pontotoc County Sunday, June 28, 2009 ROBERT "Bob" MURRAY Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Robert "Bob" Murray, 71, formerly of Stratford, who passed away, June 18, 2009, were held Monday, June 22 at Cape Coral Community Church. Pastor David Rigby and Kevin Igo officiated. Family visitation was held before the memorial service. Bob was born January 15, 1938, at Ada, Oklahoma to Jame "Wash" and Stella Murray. He graduated from Vanoss High School and at age 21 went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. After a lifelong career with Southwestern Bell, he retired as a district supervisor after 31 years of service and moved on to his next adventure. He and his wife, Lois Murray, started Peach Crest Farms in Stratford and planted and developed the orchard and business until they retired once again in 1995 and moved to Cape Coral, Florida. In Florida, Bob enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and friend will be missed by all. Bob was survived by his wife Lois, of the home; two sons, Robert Murray Jr. of Houston TX; James Michael Murray of Seminole, OK; two daughters, Roxie Igo and husband Kevin of Plainview, TX; Wendy Haskins and husband Jeff of Naples, FL; five grandchildren, Jessica, Clay and Meagan Igo of Plainview, TX; Dayton and Cole Haskins of Naples, FL; one brother, Jim Murray and wife Marie of Oklahoma City, OK; three sisters, Mildred Bradam of Dallas, TX; Wilma Barrick of Norman, OK; Louise Maloy and husband Jack of Cape Coral, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
