All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Memorial Park Cemetery--Ada OK *Ada Evening News, Ada, OK, Pontotoc County Friday, January 30, 2009 GENEVA RUTH WILLIAMS Geneva Ruth Williams, 82, beloved mother and grandmother, passed this earth January 27, 2009, in Madill, Oklahoma. Born in Seminole, Oklahoma, on October 7, 1926, she was the daughter of Pearl and Floyd Miller and spent her younger years in Ada, Oklahoma. Geneva was a special woman, with a smile that brought light and happiness to those blessed to know her. Her love knew no boundaries, her sweetness never ceased, and my, she loved children. A retired educator, Geneva earned her master's degree in education at Oklahoma City University and taught gifted and talented students in the Moore school system. Previously she worked as a school secretary in Oklahoma City. She also was an avid artist and crafter, whose generosity of heart and tender spirit touched everyone she met. No words can really express how deeply Geneva was loved and how greatly she will be missed. Her family and friends can only take comfort that she now is at peace. Geneva is survived by Son: Phil Williams, his wife, Barbara, Austin, Texas Grandson: Mark Williams, Austin, Texas Sister: Bette MacRobert, Kingston Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband James Harlan Williams and sisters Berniece Matthews of Tulsa and Virginia Miller of Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 2, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston , Oklahoma. Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, Oklahoma at 3:00 p.m. Services under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Oklahoma.
