All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Ada Evening News, Ada, OK, Pontotoc County Sunday, July 19, 2009 ROBERT EDWARD WILSON 1943-2009 Robert Edward Wilson, beloved father and "PaPa" passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday morning, July 14, 2009. Robert was born May 19, 1943 in Chicago to Alexander T. Wilson and Helen Louis Flood Wilson. He met Marilyn Adams while working at Anchor Hocking in Los Angeles in 1964. They married November 14, 1964 raising three children during their 22 years of marriage. Robert loved working with his hands and fixing things, mainly automobiles. He managed a Kmart automotive and later joined Walmart in 1986. In his younger years Robert picked at a guitar, bicycled many miles, and made folk jewelry. His favorite saying was "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade". Robert's gentle voice, optimism, and big sparkling eyes helped him make many friends at Uni Health Santa Rosa Post Acute Care Center in Milton, FL. He loved the staff and they loved him too. Robert was Catholic, and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Jacksonville, FL. Thank you to St. Rose Lima and your ministry to bring Communion to him when he was unable to attend Sunday Mass. Thank you to Brother Kelly for bringing your lively and uplifting music to the care center. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; father, Alexander; brother, Allen Wilson. Survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Lee of Jacksonville, FL; twin sons, Timothy Robert (Stephanie) of Oklahoma City and Thomas Allen (Terry) of Leonard, TX; six beautiful grandchildren: Matthew, Brianne, Megan, Rachel, Nathan, and Sarah; beloved mother of his children, Marilyn Wilson of Leonard, TX; and his baby sister, Jacqueline Wilson Steffen of California. A Memorial Service to be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, Milton, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made at www.michaeljfox.org to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.
